I recently bought this backpack for a trip to Peru. I was uncertain, at first, as to which camera bag would fit my needs, but ultimately decided on the Fastpack 200 (red, like a beautiful autumn sunset). This sweet baby was so choice! I don’t have a lot of camera equipment (the Fastpack 100 would’ve been suitable), but what drew me to this backpack was the extra room up top. I was able to fit my various small accessories (sunglasses, small electronics, etc), a jacket and small souvenirs in the top compartment (Note: the jacket made it a pretty tight fit). The camera/lens storage area below is spacious and sturdy (like a prison cell). Also like a prison cell, it kept my equipment (prisoners) on lock-down when I wanted it safely stored away from each other in separate compartments (or cells). A DLSR, 2 lenses, and a point-and-shoot only filled it half-full (with a backpack this great, how could it be half-empty?). The stiff padding protecting my equipment left me with no need to worry about my precious cargo. The shoulder straps are comfortable, even after wearing the backpack for hours. Lastly, the quick access side-zip deal was smooth, and it was very easy to access my camera and put it away. My only qualms with the Fastpack are: 1) There’s no good place to attach a tripod. 2) The zipper on the camera compartment would stick a little on zip-up after a lot of use (but it’s not really a big deal).

I highly recommend this product for anyone who needs a good bag that can hold more than just a camera and its accessories. It’s a great vacation camera bag. Plus, it has plenty of sex-appeal!

Make no mistake, you are buying a cheaper lens. That said, it works better than I would have expected for the price I paid. Focus is finicky, and the lens is not a lightweight. The manual that comes in the box makes mention of some “included” filters to help mitigate the fixed aperture, but I didn’t see them anywhere. Going to try taking the lens out again once I’m more familiar with my camera’s manual mode.

When i received this pkg.I got a black rocket air blower inside the packaging?? a med.size one..and I also recv’d a huge Red Giotto’s rocket blower?? so I ended up with 2!
Looking at the pkg. I got different things, actually. There is more than enough stuff in this pkg. The black air blower looked small, but its plenty big & strong!
Biggest drawback folks, watch out ordering this product, as there are NO DIRECTIONS ON ANYTHING!. I have alot of money tied up in my camera equip. and was very leary about all of the products.!? but I used a few things, including the air blower, and the brush, and I ended up with more lint than I started with!
Maybe I did something wrong, but how would I know, I had no directions??? duh.

I ordered this product just before leaving for an international trip to use with my Nikon D40x with an 18-200mm VR lens. I hoped that it would be a good substitute for a mini tripod (i.e. Gorillapod and Ultrapod) because I have had troubles in the past with mini tripods failing to support my camera and lens.

The Cam-Pod did what it was supposed to: It stabilized my camera allowing sharp photos and it held my camera steady on non-flat (even curved!) surfaces. But the Cam-Pod could do more than that. The feature that makes the Cam-Pod stand out from mini tripods and other camera bean-bags is its ability to be reshaped. I could fold it in different ways to point the lens up or down and I could use it to hold my camera in the portrait orientation. I have never gotten a mini tripod to hold my camera (with the big lens) steady in the portrait orientation.

What I don’t like about the Cam-Pod is that it’s a bit bulky for my taste. It’s bigger than an Ultrapod but a bit smaller than a Gorilla Pod SLR Zoom. Also, the Cam-Pod has a very simple construction. I could have easily made this myself with a bit of fabric and some plastic beads. If you’re handy with a sewing machine–make one yourself. I would have done so if I had time before my trip.
